The US stock markets have not long reopened for live trading and it has been a higher start to the day and as suspected earlier, one led by the tech sector and the Nasdaq 100. The index has outperformed the industrial sector and that has seen the Dow Jones underperform in relative terms and led to yet another twist in the rotation divergence, this time in favour of tech. The Dow Jones closed last night at 40,743 and reopened today at 40,768. The initial price e action has seen a high set at 40,817, but the index is below that high just now. There is going to be a lot of price action this afternoon, and the reversal in the rotation seen so far today may yet swing the other way again, ahead of the Fed policy decision this evening.
