US stocks open higher- check out the Nasdaq 100 rising to new 2023 high
The US stock markets have just this minute reopened for live trading and it has been a positive start to the day. That was always going to be the case given the price action across all the US futures since the European opening this morning. As covered here earlier today, the Nasdaq 100 closed above 16k last night, at 16,010. It has jus this minute reopened above 16,100. That means it is close to setting a new 2023 high, which currently stands at 16,119 and was set last week on November 22. It is just now rising above that high, as the index reopens , currently trading around 16,140
