US stocks mostly higher in the first hour of live trade- Nasdaq 100 leads again
The US stock markets have been open for just over an hour now and the scene is modestly positive. The best performing index is once again the Nasdaq 100, driven by further gains in the tech sector and that is carrying the other two indexes higher, not by much though at this stage in the session. The Nasdaq 100 reopened today at 21,254 after closing last night at 21,197. The high seen has been set at 21,328 and that was shortly after the opening. Since then it has fallen back to set a session low at 21,199. It is on the rebound again now, but as yet not threatening the earlier highs. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 21,255
