US stocks mixed in early trading- Dow Jones still in the red
The US stock markets have been open for around 20 minutes now and so far it has been an early session of mixed fortunes. The Dow Jones is still in the red thanks to United Health and the Nasdaq 100 is the best performer. The tech index has pushed close to 21k now this afternoon, but so far that is capping the topside. The dollar is weaker versus its major counterparts after the benign CPI report and Gold is still flattering to deceive. In fact the metal has just this minute taken a hit towards $3,230. The reader was kind warned about that in the previous update on the metal. The Dow Jones is right now trading about 180 points in there red currently trading around 42,215
