US stocks making the best of it before tomorrow- Nasdaq 100 outperforms in early trading
The US stock markets have all opened higher today, but that was always going to be the case. The initial gains in the Dow Jones and S+P 500 seem hard fought though and probably owe almost everything to the rather benign US PPI data. The question is; will that be replicated in the CPI report tomorrow? If that is not the case, then wherever the US stock markets close tonight might not matter much by the close tomorrow. In percentage terms, right now the Nasdaq 100 is performing the best of all in early trading. The index closed last night at 20,784. It reopened this afternoon at 20,896. The high seen so far has been set at 20,969. It is right now trading at 20,910 as the Dow and S+P 500 fall back from earlier session highs
