US stocks lift in opening trade- check out the Nasdaq 100

The US stock markets have just opened for the final live session of the week. It has been a mildly positive start to the day. The Nasdaq 100 did manage to forge out a slightly higher opening, which did not seem likely much earlier today. The index closed last night at 21,774 and reopened just now at 21,776. It has immediately pushed higher and lifted above 21,850 (21,869 the high so far) in the first few minutes of live action. The next level of note is the double top on the daily charts (previous outlined), which was set in place on January 22 and January 24, at 21,943 and 21,945 respectively. That is the level of most interest right now, but of course it has to get there first, before deciding if, or not it will hold. We have to see on that. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 21,856
