US stocks lift following Powell comments- Dow Jones steps closer to 41,376 record
The US stock markets are making further session highs following the Dovish comments from the Fed boss. The Dow Jones loves this and it has now lifted back above 41k and well above the highs seen yesterday, at 41,026. The index has just this minute risen to 41,149 and hence another step closer to the current 2024, and record high, at 41,376. The S+P 500 and Nasdaq 100 have also surged on these comments from Powell. The index is currently backing-off slightly, trading at 41,050
