US stocks jump into the opening- Nasdaq 100 reclaims 18k in early trading

The US equity futures continued to advance into the opening this afternoon and that has delivered quite markedly higher openings for all three major US indexes this afternoon. Whilst waiting for exact cash opening prices, it looks like the S+P 500 just kicked off around 5,230 and above 39,300 for the Dow Jones. The tech heavy Nasdaq 100 has just restarted very close to, or even above 18k and that is some way above where the index closed last night at 17,430. So, it is certainly a very positive start to the US session, relative to what we have seen over the past 3 trading days. The question now remains as to how much more of a rebound is in the tank? Hard to answer, but the next headline could make of break or course and right now the markets are feeding off the hope that trade deals will be made in the next few hours and perhaps the April 9 tariff deadline will be put back. That all remains to be seen. The Nasdaq 100 is right now at 18,020
