US stocks hold gains into the close- Nasdaq 100 leads

Yesterday all the major US stock markets held their gains into the close and further rebounded off the lows seen earlier in the week. The Nasdaq 100 led the way again, with a 3% session gain, compared to 2.30% for the s+P 500 and 1.76% for the Dow Jones. The Nasdaq 100 piled on 546 points, when closing at 18,413. Those gains have helped the Asian markets to mostly follow suit today, but strangely the Nikkei 225 is lower right now. That has dented the US futures somewhat and certainly helped to stall any further progress for the Nasdaq ahead of the European opening this morning. The Nasdaq 100 futures are right now pricing a largely unchanged opening for later today
