US stocks hold gains into the close- Nasdaq 100 futures higher this morning

The Asian markets are all mostly in the green this morning and the gains are currently being led by Taiwan and Japan. The rebound in the Nikkei 225 this morning has helped the Yen to weaken slightly and also lifted the US equity futures. It was a series of positive closes in the US on Friday and one led in percentage terms by the Dow Jones. The Nasdaq 100 futures are leading the gains this morning though. The Nasdaq 100 was the weakest of the three main US indexes on Friday, closing 0.85% higher, compared to a closing gain of 1.18% for the Dow Jones and 1.09% for the S+P 500. However, it is leading the race this morning. The index closed on Friday at 21,289, with a gain of 178 points on the session. The Nasdaq is currently priced to reopen around 21,465 later today
