US stocks fall after early rebound attempts fade- S+P 500 falls towards 5,585

The US stock markets have been open for 30 minutes now and since a lower start to the session all three major indexes did attempt to rebound. However, that rebound has now given way to fresh downside and the Nasdaq 100 is right now leading the losses. The Dow Jones fell back towards 40,750 a short while ago and the S+P 500 has dropped below 5,600. The index reopened today at 5,605.87 and then lifted towards 5,615. That was the extent of the rebound and it has since fallen back towards 5,585. At the same time the dollar has weakened further and that has seen the EUR/USD finally push its way above 1.1350. The next potential resistance level remains in place from the high seen on Friday, at 1.1381. The S+P 500 is currently trading at 5,588
