US stocks diverge again- Nasdaq 100 closes on session lows
The noted divergence in the US stock markets once again saw massive rotation out of tech and the Nasdaq 100 and into the Dow Jones. That led to the broadest divergence between the two for some time, seen as of the close. The Dow Jones closed 260 points higher, where the Nasdaq 100 closed 225 points lower. That close was right on the lows of the day too. Overnight the Dow Jones futures are higher, but right now so are the Nasdaq 100 futures too. The index is currently priced to reopen at around 19,540, where it closed last night at 19,474
