US stock markets reopen with early rotation out of the Dow Jones and into the Nasdaq 100

The US stock markets have just reopened and the immediate moves have seen the Dow Jones drop a little further into the red whilst the Nasdaq 100 moves in the opposite direction. The Dow Jones closed on Friday, at 42,863 ( a record daily and weekly close). It has just now reopened at 42,800 and fallen back to a low so far at 42,707. That comes as the Nasdaq 100 extends its higher opening to above 20,400. The Dow Jones is currently trading at 42,755 and whilst this immediate rotation into tech may persist, it is surely too early in the session to guarantee it will be so.
