US stock futures slightly mixed as DAX has another look at 17k
It is hard to say which way the US stock markets will break this afternoon, when live trading resumes in less than one hour. The Nasdaq 100 futures are slightly in the red and the Dow Jones futures are ever so slightly in the green. I guess we shall have to see how the opening moves unfold there. Meantime, here in Europe the CAC 40 has led the rebound gains and that has helped the DAX take another look at the 17k level. That seems a tough ask on the opening this morning, but since my last update, noting a rebound in the German index, it has extended further. That gain comes despite the FTSE 100 defying the odds for a rise today. The FTSE 100 is not lower. The DAX is currently trading at 17,005
