US stock futures recover some lost ground overnight-check out the Nasdaq 100 this morning

The US equity markets went into a tailspin on Friday evening and that delivered across the board losses for all the major indexes. Those losses were led in percentage terms by the tech sector and the Nasdaq 100. The index fell to a low at 17,952 and later closed 304 points lower, at 18,003. The news over the weekend; that Iran has attacked Isreal directly was confirmation of what the US stock markets were concerned about most on Friday. The fact that little or no damage was inflicted is probably what has helped the US stock futures recover some lost ground this morning, ahead of the whole batch of US companies reporting Q1 earnings today and this week. The Nasdaq 100 future is currently pricing the opening at around 18,082
