US stock futures fall back after CPI report- check out the S+P 500 now

The US stock market futures reacted negatively to the news that US CPI was right on market expectations in July. The news that the annualised core rate did drop back to 3.2%, from 3.3% was not met with a fan fare of gains across all the US stock market futures and that is because it was surely all priced into gains beforehand? The Dow Jones fell back to below 39,700 on the news, but it is just now rebounding a bit. The S+P 500 futures also fell back from a pre-release high neat 5,450. The index future is also rebounding off a low towards 5,425. As to how it actually trades after the opening is certainly a bit less certain right now. The index is currently priced to reopen at around 5,435
