US stock futures edging lower ahead of the opening-check out the Dow Jones

The attempts to recover earlier losses across the US equity futures have now seemingly faded and all three indexes are edging lower again ahead of the opening in around 15 minutes. The DAX is lower again now too, after the earlier rebound stalled at 15,360. The DAX is now pushing back towards its earlier session lows, at 15,264. Meantime, the Dow Jones futures are trading back close to 33,800 after an earlier has also given way to some further downside. So, unless anything changes drastically in the next 15 minutes, it is going to be a lower start for the Dow Jones today, remembering it closed last night at 34,006. There are a few data points to note at 2pm GMT too, namely the latest US consumer confidence index and the Richmond Fed index, either, or both of which could dictate the price action for the Dow Jones this afternoon. It is currently pricing a reopening at around 33,810
