US stock futures ease gains after US data beats forecasts- S+P 500 slips
Following on from the previous update noting the spike higher in the dollar after the latest US economic releases, that has also served to push the US equity futures off their best levels of the day. Earlier the S+P 500 index was priced to reopen as high as 5,717. It is still priced to open above 5,700, but not quite so ebulliently so as earlier. As to how this plays out in the next hour before live trading resumes remains to be seen. The index is right now priced to reopen at around 5,707
