US stock futures charge higher as CPI edges lower-check out the Nasdaq 100
The dollar has taken a kick lower, as just noted in the previous update. However, there are many reactions right now to the lower than expected US inflation print and the one in focus here is the US equity futures. The Nasdaq 100 has loved this data. The index future has charged above 15,700 as we see similar gains in the Dow Jones futures too. The sweater dollar is also fanning those gains and unless something miraculous happens in the next hour, it is going to be a sharply higher opening for the US stock markets this afternoon. The Nasdaq 100 future is just now priced to reopen at 15,725
