The US rebound came too late for European stocks but DAX futures are higher this morning

The further falls across the European stock markets yesterday delivered a drop below 22k in the DAX, as reported here at the time. The DAX fell to 21,978. The index did rebound into the monthly close though, but not by enough to avoid a lower close on the day. The DAX later ended the month at 22,163, with a loss of 298 points on the session. There is no doubt the rebound seen later stateside has buoyed the opening outlook today, but the path from here is far from certain, as the new month gets underway. So much will now hinge on what Trump delivers tomorrow in his so called Liberation day tariffs. As to whether that Liberates DAX bulls or bears remains to be seen. The DAX is right now priced to reopen around 22,255
