US futures turning slightly red-check out the S+P 500 again
As noted a few times earlier, the US stock markets will not open today due to the MLK holiday. The futures are still trading and as the European stock markets continue to stall somewhat today, all three main US index futures are now just in the red and a little more so than earlier. However, we are not taking about any big moves here at all. This might be due some adverse price reflection ahead of the increasingly looming Trump inauguration, but either way the US futures are lacking in direction right now and that has helped to push them a little lower. The S+P 500 was earlier pricing the opening above 6k. It is now pricing it closed to 5,990, in what has so far been a quiet European session, characterised by a lack of any meaningful fresh news
