US futures turn positive into the PCE report-Dow Jones set to open above 42,220 now

Just now the DAX is setting yet more records, as the index rises above 19,440 and that seems to be driving the US stock futures higher. All three major indexes are now pricing a higher opening, where that was not the case earlier today. At the same time the Nikkei 225 futures are still heading in the opposite direction and remain heavily in the red, rocked by the appointment of the new Japanese Prime minister. Earlier today the Dow Jones future was struggling to price a higher open ing today, but that is not the case just now. The index closed last night at 41,175. It is currently priced to reopen around 42,225, as the markets await the release of the important US PCE report. That is due shortly, at 12.30pm GMT and it could endorse, or detract from the current, higher opening outlook. All to be revealed shortly
