The US equity futures are all pricing a modestly lower opening for this afternoon, notwithstanding gains here in Europe this morning. The Nasdaq 100 was the weakest of the 3 major indexes yesterday, but it only just managed to end the session in the red. The index closed 6 points lower, at 18,085. It was held back by losses in PayPal and Intel and those eclipsed modest gains in Amgen, Broadcom, Comcast and Meta. Now that the Q1 earnings season is mostly behind us, there is not much of note due for release later today. The Nasdaq 100 futures are tracking lower now and currently pricing the opening at around 18,030
