US futures advance further as European markets hold record gains-check out the Nasdaq 100

The European stock markets are very much still on the front foot, as early US players step in. It seems that has helped to deliver some fresh buying now across the US markets, So, with the likes of the FTSE 100 and the DAX setting fresh records, perhaps that is not a surprise. What might be more of a surprise; is the US futures took so long to push higher. Well, they are doing that right now and the gains are pretty board based, with perhaps a slight favourable bias for the Nasdaq 100. As noted here earlier, the Nasdaq 100 was the worst performing major US index yesterday, when it closed 146 points lower, at 21,091. Right now the index is priced to reopen at around 21,255
