US equity futures higher this morning after another drubbing for the Nasdaq 100 yesterday

Yesterday the US stock markets took it on the chin and this time the Dow Jones did not escape the losses by as much as it had the day before. That said it was once again not the worst performer amongst the three major indexes. That mantle was held by the Nasdaq 100 once more. The index closed 1.84% lower, with a loss of 275 points on the day. The index closed at 14,694, further extending its break below 15k. The index future is a little higher this morning, but that is perhaps understandable given the heavy losses of the past few days. The Nasdaq 100 future is currently priced to reopen later today at around 14,740
