US data releases on the agenda today- Dow Jones futures off best levels

Just ahead of the Bank of England policy decision, due in a few minutes, here is a look at what US data releases are due out at 12.30pm GMT. We have the usual weekly jobless claims numbers and the Philadelphia Fed March business index. This is expected to fall back from a prior reading at 5.2, to around -2.3. This is quite important data and it is not usually ignored by the markets. Ahead of this release the US stock market futures are all still holding gains. The Dow Jones futures are still leading those, but the price is off earlier highs. That was indicating a reopening close to 39,700. It is now closer to 39,600
