There is another batch of US companies reporting their Q1 earnings today and most of those are S+P 500 components. The really two big names reporting will come after the closing bell and they are both S+P and Nasdaq 100 stocks. As noted earlier this week, this evening we have Q1 earnings from Microsoft (MSFT) at 20.05pm GMT and then at 20.40pm GMT we get the same from Meta (META). So, given the market cap and position in the Nasdaq 100 of those two stocks (ranked no 2 and no 6 respectively), the focus here is on the Nasdaq 100 futures this morning. The index rose to 19,582 yesterday, further extending its rebound gains. The Nasdaq 100 later closed 117 points higher, at 19,544. The index futures are in the red this morning though and have been pricing the opening below 19,400 earlier. They are off that low now, but still in the red for the time being. There will be more to add on this one for sure as the final day of trading for the month gets underway later on. The Nasdaq 100 is right now priced to reopen at 19,460
