Two Big US names reporting later today-check out the S+P 500 futures

As noted here earlier this morning, the S+P 500 was the least impressive of the major US stock market indexes on Friday. That said, the index still gained 30 points on the close, ending the session 0.55% higher, at 5,615.35, but down from the new record high it set earlier in the day, at 5,655.56. It was also below the previous record daily close, at 5,633.91. Today we have a couple of big S+P component names reporting their Q2 results. First comes BlackRock (BLK) at 10am GMT and then at 11.30am GMT comes Goldman Sachs (GS). It is worth noting; that GS is the second largest component within the Dow Jones by weight. The S+P 500 futures are higher this morning and currently pricing a reopening at around 5,630, but these two financial giants could have an impact on that pricing ahead that opening
