Stocks turn tail on Trump reports- S+P 500 futures take a hit

Both the European stock markets and US equity futures have taken a knock following the noted reports about Trump in the previous headline. That has seen the DAX sharply reverse an earlier rise close to 20,500 and slide below 20,350. The Nasdaq 100 future has given up more than 100 points and the S+P 500, which was pricing a reopening above 5,925 earlier has now priced it below 5,900. It is off the lows now as the dust settles on all this and the markets try to evaluate the true implications of that headline report and whether or not there it has any validity. `What is certain though, in regards to stocks and FX; is that it is going to be a lively rest of the day for sure. The S+P 500 is right now priced to reopen around 5,905
