Yesterday, whilst there were no fresh records for the Nasdaq or the Dow Jones, the S+P 500 did rise, to set a new all time high, at 5,490.38. The index later held most of that gain, when it closed at 5,487,03 and that was a new closing record for the index too. Of course the index will not reopen for live trading later today, owing to the Juneteenth holiday. However, right now even as the European stock markets edge lower in early trade, the S+P futures are pricing a record opening for tomorrow, but of course that can easily change over the next 24 hours and more.
