S+P 500 sets a new opening high and a new all time record high
The US stock markets have just reopened and it has been a very positive start to the day. All three major indexes are opening higher and in the case of the S+P 500 it has been a new opening high, coupled with a new all time high on that opening too. The further gains in the Nasdaq 100 futures, to above 20,400 in terms of an indicative opening has helped to propel the S+P 500 to these new record levels. The S+P just kicked off the session at around 5,877
