S+P 500 pushes to set a new all time high towards 5,775
The US stock markets are showing little sign falling back so far today. In fact the S+P 500 has just now lifted to set a new all time record high today, rising above the previous record at 5,767.37. The move above this level may have seen some system buyers kick in and push the index towards 5,775 right now. As to how far this move extends remains to be seen. The S+P 500 has garnered traction from the rebound just now in the tech sector and the Nasdaq 100, but it was already being supported by further gains in the Dow Jones today. Hence the S+P is feeding off both of those, as it sets fresh records today
