S+P 500 leads US stock futures losses
The US stock markets will reopen in around 40 minutes and right now the opening vista is red and unless something changes over that time frame it will remain that way. The S+P 500 is leading the downside for a change right now, but it is a close run thing between all three major indexes. The S+P 500 set another daily close below its 100 day moving average on Friday (then at 4,376), when ending the week at 4,320. The price action is seeing the index fall closer towards its 200 day moving average now, but that is still some way off, currently at 4,190, as of the close on Friday. That will shift again once the index reopens this afternoon. The S+P 500 futures are currently indicating a reopening at around 4,310
