S+P 500 futures steady after red letter day on Friday

I am sure that all of you reading this are now aware that the S+P 500 index closed above 5,000 for the first time ever on Friday. The index closed the week at 5,026.61 after reaching a new all time high at 5,030.06. Of course earlier in the day I had reminded readers about an outlook I had previously mentioned before. That update noted and repeated the potential for this current wave 5 to extend to above 6,000 over time. Hence, the close above 5k on Friday was not exactly a surprise here. However, I do also repeat the caveat again; that there is no guarantee the index will extend to the levels mentioned here. Much can unfold this week to detract from that and of course, the higher the index goes, the more stretched it will become. Right now this morning, the S+P 500 futures are pretty steady though and currently pricing a largely unchanged reopening for later today
