The myriad of conflicting reactions across the markets this afternoon has seen US stock futures fall back. It seems that the prospect of higher prices, or more rather inflation proving to be sticky, at the same time as the jobs outlook faltering has helped to push the opening outlook for the US stock markets into the red just now. The S+P 500 was pricing the opening earlier at, or above 5,790. Since the release of all this data that opening call has been pushed back to below 5,770. It is just now priced to reopen at around 5,772
