S+P 500 futures have opening above 5,500 in sight today
As noted here earlier this morning, the Nasdaq 100 is right now priced to potentially reopen above 20k later today and of course that has impacted the S+P 500 as well. So, right now the broader US stock market index is poised to potentially reopen above 5,500 later today. The current all time high for the index was set on Tuesday, at 5,490.38 and the index closed that day at 5,487.03. That was of course a record close for the S+P 500. The current futures price is just now indicating the index could reopen this afternoon at around 5,506.
