S+P 500 futures eyeing record breaking ground this morning
As noted here yesterday morning, the S+P 500 came to within a single point of reaching a new record high on Friday. Of course the index was not open yesterday, due to the US holiday and perhaps it might have set new records had it been so. Well, the S+P 500 futures have been trading all that time and right now the index is priced to open at levels not seen before. That outlook might change over the next few hours, but as things stand right now this morning the S+P 500 is priced to reopen above 6,135, remembering the current all time high is in place at 6,128.18.
