A number of pretty large US companies have just released their Q1 results. There have been reports for Southwest airlines, Caterpillar, Merck and Valero Energy. With the exception of Merck and the release of leading their new drug, all of those companies missed on Q1 earnings, but did up their EPS. The futures price has been in the red all today and since the close last night, dragged down by Meta. The index is currently priced to reopen at around 5,040
