S+P 500 fills the opening gap as European stocks crumble

The price action across the major European stock markets has seen all three major indexes crumble even more. All of them are now deeper in the red and the further losses come as the S+P 500 drops back from its opening record highs. The prior record was set at 5,878 the other week and the index reopened today officially at 5,864.89 but the real opening was above 5,900. The high seen so far has been set at 5,905. However, whichever way you might want to cut it, the index has now filled any opening gap. Meantime, the DAX looks at risk of falling below 19k and that is a massive turn around given that it rose to 19,563 earlier today. The DAX has held that 19k level for now though, but there seems to be no let up in the rotation out of Europe and into the US, which has been a theme mentioned here several times already. The S+P 500 is currently trading at 5,888
