Right now the Nasdaq 100 looks set for record breaking opening

As covered earlier today, the Nasdaq 100 failed to get its name in the record books yesterday, when topping out at 21,715 and later closing 148 points lower, at 21,615. The current all time record high is set at 21,784. Well, as the morning has progressed the Nasdaq 100 futures have been on the rebound and right now the index is close to pricing an opening near that record high. As things currently stand it would be a record opening for the index anyway. However, with some two and half hours to go before the index reopens, of course that could change.
