A red letter day now for the Dow Jones as it sets new 2023 high above 35,700

Well, I cannot say that I am surprised, but the Dow Jones has now risen to set a new 2023 high above the existing one at 35,679. The index has just now risen above 35,700 and the gains come despite price action in the opposite direction for the nasdaq 100. That has fallen back below 16k and remained there since making a brief effort to hold a rise above that level. The low seen there so far has been set at 15,917 and this significant underperformance does endorse what was noted here earlier today regarding its technically negative outside day reversal last night.
