A record opening and a new all time high for the Nasdaq 100 today
The US stock markets have not long reopened for live trade and as suspected earlier it has been a record opening for the Nasdaq 100 today. The index resumed live trade at 21,789 and then lifted to above 21,800 for the first time ever. The Nasdaq just traded to a new all time high, at 21,875 The new record for the Nasdaq comes as Dow Jones does make some rebound progress above 44k ont he opening today and of course the gains in the tech sector have crossed into the broader markets, so the S+P 500 is making progress on the opening too. The Nasdaq 100 is currently trading at 21,871
