One hour into the session US stocks still in the red-check out the S+P 500

Well, as expected the S+P 500 did struggle on the opening. The index officially resumed live trading at 5,910,.66 from a close last night at 5,909.03. The immediate high so far today was right on that opening too, at 5,910.66. Since then it has been southbound for the broadest measure of US stocks and perhaps we should not forget two things. In between times perhaps we should not overlook the US December Jobs report on Friday, at 1.30pm GMT. The index is just off the session lows seen not long ago around 5,885. There will be an update this evening covering those Fed meeting minutes and whatever impact they might have on the markets ahead of the US close tonight. Meantime, trading remains volatile, as warned on earlier. The S+P 500 is currently trading at 5,898
