One hour into live trading and US stocks still deeply in the red- check out the S+P 500

The US stock markets have been open for live trade for just over an hour now and in that time the losses have deepened especially versus the Nasdaq 100 and the S+P 500. The broadest measure of the US stock markets- the S+P 500 is close to session lows right now and looks like it could extend further in due course. The index closed last night at 5,670 and reopened today at 5,492. The highest point seen so far has been set at 5,499. The index is right now close to session lows, as it approaches 5,430. It is currently trading at 5,434
