Oil prices lower this morning-check out Brent Crude today

On Friday the attempt to push back above $86 in the price of September Brent crude stalled ahead of $86.50. The high seen was set at $86.35. The September Brent contract later fell back sharply and settled $0.37 lower on the NYMEX exchange, at $85.03. Earlier today that negative close pushed the price down to an Asian session low at $84.46. However, it has bounced off that low now. The low seen last week was set at exactly $84 and so for the time being that remains intact. The high seen this time last week was set at $86.92, so as you can see we are closer to the bottom of that range than the top, as the new week gets underway. Brent for September delivery is currently trading at $84.88
