Oil extends gains ahead of OPEC meeting-check out Brent price right now

OPEC are set to meet today (no output changes expected) amid mounting geopolitical uncertainty over the situation in the Middle East. The threat of a wider region conflict is very much live right now and the comments from Iran, that helped to boost oil prices yesterday evening have not helped the situation at all. So the price of Brent crude for October delivery settled $2.77 higher on the NYMEX exchange yesterday, at $80.84 and it has extended that move since then, before and after the wider US market close. It rising further this morning. Brent for October delivery is currently trading at $81.63
