NVDA rebound helps Nasdaq 100 to a higher close
Yesterday the share price of NVIDIA (NVDA) fell by around 5% in early trading. However, the rebound that followed saw it later close in the green. NVDA eventually closed $0.76 higher, at $124.30. Earlier in the day it had hit a low at $118.30. So, it was the driver to help the Nasdaq 100 also rebound and reverse a low at 19,577 and reach 19,827. The index later closed 129 points higher, at 19,812. However, despite gains in Asia today (led by the Nikkei 225), the Nasdaq 100 futures are lower this morning and right now pricing an opening for this afternoon at around 19,770
