Earlier an update here noted the surge in the DAX and the prospect, or possibility that it might test the 22k handle. Well, in the event it stalled just short of that level, peaking earlier at 21,976. The price action since has seen it fall back to 21,825, but it is off that low. The index reopened today at 21,801 after closing yesterday at 21,293. So, as you can see, despite coming off the high of the session, it remains well elevated ahead of the US opening this afternoon. Right now that US opening if anything is looking even more positive for the Nasdaq 100 and the S+P 500, ahead of the Boeing (BA) results at 12pm GMT. We shall have to see if those futures gains do get transposed into the live trading later on and if that can lift the DAX for another attempt on that 22k level. Also to note, that due to technical reasons there will be no further updates from this analyst after 12pm GMT until very early tomorrow when the service resumes. The DAX is right now at 21,850
