Not such an ebullient start for European stocks- FTSE 100 in reverse

The European stock markets have not long ago kicked off the new month and it has not been such a positive start to the session. The CAC 40 is leading the way lower, as it falls below 7,600 in early trading. The DAX is off the boil too and now in danger of falling into negative territory on the day. The European scene comes as all the US futures now turn red, led by a relapse in the Dow Jones just now. The same can be said for the FTSE 100 too. Earlier this index was priced to open at above 8,275 this morning. The early price action has seen it fall back, potentially below the lows seen yesterday, as it slips just below 8,225
