A not so impressive start for the DAX today
The DAX has been open for almost 30 minutes now and it has not exactly charged higher in early trade. The opening for the index this morning did not live up to the earlier pricing on the DAX futures. The index resumed live trading at 16,723 and that was some way short of what it could have been. So, it seems the index is struggling for traction so far today. It has remained above the previous close, at 16,704 though, but it is making heavy weather of it. The low seen so far has been set around 16,710. The DAX is currently trading at 16,720
